TEREX spare parts sharing article, repair and maintenance guide for bulldozers

Technical maintenance is a very important task. If done well, it can not only ensure the safe operation of bulldozers, but also extend their service life. Therefore, before and after homework, the bulldozer should be inspected and maintained according to regulations. During the homework process, attention should also be paid to any abnormal situations that may occur during the operation of the bulldozer, such as noise, odor, vibration, etc., in order to detect and solve problems in a timely manner, and avoid serious consequences caused by minor malfunctions. At the same time, good technical maintenance can also extend the major and medium maintenance cycles of bulldozers, fully exerting their efficiency.

fuel system

1. The fuel used for diesel engines must be selected according to the relevant regulations in the "Oil Regulations" and in combination with the local working environment. The specifications and performance of diesel should comply with the provisions of GB252-81 "Light Diesel Fuel".

2. Oil storage containers should be kept clean.

3. New oil should undergo a considerable amount of sedimentation treatment (preferably seven days and nights), then be slowly sucked out and poured into the diesel tank.

4. The diesel fuel in the bulldozer diesel tank should be filled up immediately after the operation is completed to prevent gas condensation and mixing into the oil. At the same time, give the next day's oil a certain amount of time to allow water and impurities to settle in the box for removal.

5. When refueling, keep the operator's hands clean the oil drum, diesel tank, refueling port, tools, etc. When using a oil well pump, be careful not to extract sediment from the bottom of the bucket.

6. When refueling, it is strictly prohibited to have flames nearby.

7. The oil level should be checked regularly. If it is not enough to reach the lower limit of the dipstick, it must be refilled.

8. The filter at the fuel inlet should be cleaned every 100 hours.

9. Each diesel filter should remove sediment in a timely manner according to the working environment, but the maximum interval should not exceed 200 hours. After removing sediment, bleeding should be carried out to avoid difficulties in starting, insufficient power, and other problems.

Cooling system

1. Use of cooling water:

(1) Distilled water, tap water, rainwater, or clean river water should be used as cooling water for diesel engines. It is prohibited to use dirty or hard water (well water, mineral water, and other water with high salt content) to prevent scaling and corrosion of the cylinder liner. Only under hard water conditions, it must be softened and replenished before it can be used.

(2) When adding water to the water tank, it may not be possible to fully fill the cooling system at once. After the diesel engine is running, it should be checked again. If it is insufficient, it should be added in full. The water inlet of the TEREX spare parts cooling system is located on the top of the small top cover of the bulldozer.

(3) In the case of continuous operation, the cooling water should be replaced every 300 hours or so. There are a total of five drain valves for the cooling system of the bulldozer diesel engine: 1. located at the bottom of the water tank; 2 is located below the water-cooled oil cooler of the diesel engine; 3 is located at the front end of the diesel engine, at the circulating water pump; 4 is located on the left front of the transfer case, on the diesel engine body; 5 is located at the lower end of the water tank outlet pipe.

2. Use of antifreeze:

In severe cold and low temperature conditions, antifreeze can be used.

Air filter

The air filter should be carefully maintained according to the usage regulations, which can not only extend the service life of the air filter, but also provide a good working condition for diesel engines with TEREX spare parts
