Diagnosis and treatment of abnormal noise in the engine piston pin of TEREX spare parts

Diagnosis and treatment of abnormal noise in the piston pin of TEREX spare parts engine. Some engines may experience abnormal noise in the piston pin during use. If the piston pin makes a serious noise, it will damage the piston pin sleeve and increase the wear of the connecting rod bearing shells and crankshaft connecting rod journals. When the damage is severe, the piston pin or top of the connecting rod will break, and the cylinder gas will be damaged, which cannot be ignored.

The introduction of TEREX spare parts for Terex accessories is as follows:

(1) There is a strange noise in the upper part of the cylinder, which is like the "special" sound made when two steel balls collide.

(2) After the engine temperature increases, the noise generally does not change much, and sometimes becomes more pronounced, which is the main difference from the abnormal noise of the piston knocking on the cylinder.

After the piston pin makes an abnormal noise, the following methods can be used to determine:

(1) Cylinder by cylinder fuel cut-off test. After cutting off the fuel, the sound significantly weakens or disappears, and it becomes more pronounced when the fuel supply is restored. When the fault is severe to a certain extent, a continuous double sound will occur. After cutting off the fuel, the sound will not only weaken or disappear, but also worsen.

(2) TEREX spare parts for engine shaking and throttle testing. When the accelerator is quickly shaken, the abnormal noise is quite obvious, and the sound cycle varies with the speed of the car.

The main reasons for the abnormal noise of the piston pin are as follows:

(1) The piston pin and connecting rod bushing are severely damaged and the fit is severely loose. The main reason is poor lubrication. There is no oil hole in the engine connecting rod. The lubrication of the piston pin and shaft sleeve is carried out by the lubricating oil nozzle through the oil collection tank at the small end of the connecting rod. If the oil pressure is too low and the injection conditions are not good, it can lead to poor lubrication of the piston pin and connecting rod bushing. Due to poor injection and poor piston cooling, it can also increase the wear of the piston pin and connecting rod bushing. If the oil deteriorates and becomes thinner, the damage will also worsen. Therefore, it is necessary to pay attention to the quality of the engine oil, change the oil periodically, replace the oil filter element, and check the oil quantity and quality before leaving the vehicle every day.

(2) During maintenance, inaccurate dimensional positioning of the connecting rod bushing, poor fit between the shaft sleeve and the connecting rod, and abnormal noise from the piston pin can also occur. Install as required during maintenance to ensure that the connecting rod bushing can be pressed in under a certain pressure.

After the piston pin makes abnormal noise, different measures can be taken according to its severity:

(1) If the piston pin makes a slight noise, it can continue to drive; But if there are maintenance conditions, replace them.

(2) If the piston pin has a serious abnormal sound (the sound is very obvious when operating at high speed and normal temperature), it should be repaired and replaced immediately.

(3) The replacement of TEREX spare parts piston pins and connecting rod bushings should be strictly carried out according to the requirements, and the clearance fit should be correct. Some engines may experience abnormal piston pin noise during use. If the abnormal noise of the piston pin is severe, it will damage the piston pin sleeve and increase the wear of the connecting rod bearing shells and crankshaft connecting rod journals. When the damage is severe, the piston pin or top of the connecting rod will break, and the cylinder gas will be damaged, which cannot be ignored.
