The winter and summer temperature difference, in order to ensure the rational use of automobile in winter and summer, in the season before the conversion, should be combined with the one or two level maintenance, and some additional work items, making the car to adapt to climate change after the operation conditions, the additional maintenance called seasonal maintenance. Seasonal maintenance is changed into two kinds of maintenance in summer and winter maintenance.

1. summer maintenance

(1) dismantling the relevant equipment for the winter traffic loading, such as the engine insulation cover and the starting preheating device, and check the full opening of the shutters.

Clean the cooling system water jacket of Baotou North running heavy truck parts engine; remove the radiator scale; test the switch temperature of the thermostat.

(3) release engine and chassis related lubricant. After cleaning, add lubricating oil in summer (if the lubricant can be used all year round, do not need to change), add oil radiator when necessary. Grease cleaning wheel bearing and replace high melting point.

(4) clean fuel system, adjust carburetor (reduce oil output, lower oil level and float speed), adjust intake and exhaust manifold to "Xia" position.

Adjust the electrolyte density of the battery (appropriately reduced), correct the generator regulator, reduce the charge current, voltage, and clean the contacts.

To take measures to prevent heatstroke.

2. winter maintenance

The additional installation of the engine cover and starting preheating device; examine whether closed shutters.

Test the working efficiency of the thermostat.

(3) to clean Baotou North Ben heavy truck parts, engine crankcase and chassis assembly, replace the winter lubricating oil, clean wheel bearing and replace the lower dropping grease, remove the oil radiator or cut off the oil radiator channel, so as to avoid the oil cooling too cold.

(4) cleaning the fuel system and adjusting the carburetor; the intake and exhaust manifold can be adjusted to the "winter" position.

(5) adjust the density of Baotou Bei Ben heavy truck accessories battery electrolyte (increase appropriately, the density in severe cold area should be no less than 1.25), adjust generator regulator and increase charging current and voltage appropriately.

Take the cold, antifreeze, anti-skid and other protective measures.
