1, the fuel supply control system by the mechanical or electronic control; for the engine to provide timely and proper cleansing; containing no or less impurities and moisture of fuel.
2 the intake system shall provide sufficient filtered clean air for the engine to allow the air to fuel ratio to approach and achieve complete combustion. The exhaust system shall exhaust the exhaust gas as soon as possible and as fully as possible.
3. The piston connecting rod mechanism and the valve train must be coordinated with each other. The intake and exhaust valves will be opened and closed in due course. Ensure that the cylinder and valve have good sealing performance, and the pressure and temperature reach the optimum value when the compression stroke is finished.
With this basic knowledge, we are looking at what causes the engine to run out of power.
I. engine fuel supply system, inlet and exhaust system exterior
1, throttle pull fault.

2, in the end of the accelerator pedal at the same time, the fuel pump on the acceleration handle is also restricted bolt to withstand, but the engine speed is still not up to the rated speed, the appropriate adjustment bolt limit solution.
3, the fuel filter screen is blocked, the fuel filter is blocked, the fuel filter is blocked and the oil circuit is blocked.
4, the oil pump leakage, poor oil supply.
5, poor quality, water content and impurities.
6, intake system failure.
The inlet pipe is blocked and bent and the air filter is dirty, resulting in large inlet resistance and poor engine performance.
7, supercharger damage, turbocharger pressure effect is poor, supercharger bypass cutting fault, supercharger can not reach the rated speed, resulting in pressure effectiveness is not good, the engine is weak.
8, the fuel injection pump timing is not accurate, will cause the engine power difference.
9, fuel injection pump failure.
Injection pump piston pairs wear, stuck;
Oil injection pump cutting damage;
Slow and wear of governor of fuel injection pump;
10 、 smoke limiter diaphragm damaged.
11, fuel injector atomization bad, even pieces of card stuck.
12, the exhaust brake butterfly cutting back is not good, blocking the exhaust passage, exhaust resistance is large, resulting in engine weakness.
13 、 exhaust pipe, muffler blockage, exhaust resistance, resulting in engine weakness.
Two 、 electrical control system failure
1, injector fault, due to water and impurities in the diesel fuel injector needle stuck, can not move, the injector does not spray or not atomized, but the ECU may not be reported wrong. Injector harness circuit or ground vibration caused because of wear on the cylinder head, the ECU will be in error.
2, water temperature, oil temperature, intake temperature is too high.
The temperature is too high, the ECU will enter the thermal protection function, limiting the power of the engine.
3, synchronous signal error.
4, flow metering unit failure.
Flow metering problems, the high-pressure oil pump will be the greatest ability to common rail tube oil supply, at this time, the common rail pressure relief valve will open, there will be "Ka Ka" sound.
5, accelerator pedal position sensor failure, plug or harness fault. Will cause engine speed limit, resulting in engine weakness.
6, fuel oil temperature is high, resulting in engine weakness.
The fuel return pipe is bent, the inside diameter is too small, and the oil return resistance is large, resulting in high oil return temperature.
Three, engine internal mechanical failure
1, cylinder gasket damage, cylinder sealing down, or between two cylinders channeling, resulting in weakness.

3, the valve seal is poor, the cylinder pressure drops, leading to engine power decline.

6, high engine water temperature, resulting in deterioration of engine conditions, resulting in engine weakness.
Four, other faults.
